Reinventing the TV guide for Africa’s largest satellite broadcaster
Television came to South Africa in 1976, offering one channel and five hours of programming a day. TV recording was unheard of, and channel surfing was a distant dream. Today, there’s more to watch, and more ways to watch, than ever before. But in a world of infinite choice, viewers need a guide to help them discover fresh new content.
We partnered with Eject Media and DStv’s internal editorial and digital teams to create a smart, personalised playlist platform. Our work included strategy, brand and broadcast identity design, platform development and systems integration, and a marketing and communication strategy to help promote DStv’s newest digital guide.
